This depends on the origin of the problem. If it is hormonal in nature, and in particular linked to a deficiency of testosterone (the male hormone regulating, among other things, sexual desire), it is possible to intervene with replacement therapy. Losing weight, increasing physical activity and getting enough sleep can help to overcome this problem. If instead the origin of the condition is psychological, it is recommended to see a psychotherapeutic sexologist and start individual or couple therapy. When the case includes an overlap of psychological and organic components, the management of the disorder will combine both therapeutic approaches.
